About The Book
When Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is within you,” He meant the Holy Spirit dwells within you, and if He lives in you, He can speak through you too!
In my morning meditations, I find that spending quiet time with the Lord through prayerful meditation, through speaking aloud the Word of God, really fills me with His Holy Spirit, empowering me to rise above the circumstances of the day. “In quietness and confidence shall be your strength” and “Be still and know that I am God” are two of the first messages I received when learning to listen during meditation. Irrespective of the adversity that may be going on in my life, when I still my mind and quiet my thoughts, I begin to feel/hear the small, still voice of the Holy Spirit. After years of “Seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven,” I clearly began to hear His still, peaceful voice in my spirit-heart. The messages became clearer and clearer, and were often accompanied by visions that would correspond to the words.
After a while, I could feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit to begin to speak aloud the words that I received. As I became fluent at speaking the messages, the next prompting I received was to get a tape recorder and begin recording the messages. I began to see the relevance and purpose of these messages, which are so filled with peace, hope, and love. So after my meditation, I would spend time transcribing the tape-recorded messages writing each one by hand in my journal. There are four hundred messages in total, and I’ve divided them into two volumes of two hundred messages each. This book is the first volume. I feel that these messages, like love letters from our heavenly Father, are edifying and will bring soothing, calming peace to those who read them. Thus, as you read, you will be naturally drawn into a closer relationship with the Lord. As you speak the messages out loud, they will also serve as a format for daily meditation. Subsequently, you can develop your own spirit-flow and therefore deepen your love for the Lord, bringing much more happiness and joy into your life!
As Jesus said, “I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly” and “That my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full!”
